In the year of 1917, the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in Fatima, Portugal. Like in Lourdes, France and the many other places where she appeared, she declared the same message – penance, penance, penance: the motherly encouragement to the world for penance and to repent for the many sins. We must heed the encouragement of the Virgin in order that we can attain the Kingdom of God.

If the Virgin’s encouragement, who is our Mother can touch the heart of a good child, because of the weight of her sorrow for the evil situation of the world, much more that she will encourage now, because of the great and grave ways of making evil now than in the olden times; according to the words of Pope Pius XII on her happy memories,

“ this time it is a must to have a strong spiritual crusade, in order to encourage the souls of this threatening world which is being flooded by the many vices and worldly attachment with its evil teachings.”
